Letter: East Providence owes Crowley debt of gratitude

To the editor:
January brings the official end of the contract with Superintendent Emeritus Kathryn Crowley, who has served our city and our school department well for 6 years.

I believe all of the residents of East Providence owe her a big debt of gratitude for her incredible service.

We have a fantastic new high school that is an example of all that public education can and should be. And we are about to update a middle and an elementary school to create a better learning environment for our students.

Kathryn Crowley brought a vision for our schools and with persistence and enthusiasm she has led us to a brighter future for all our children.

Thank you for all you have given to East Providence! We are a better place for your time with us!
